You are in a typical Shakespearean dilemma. But do not worry. First and foremost, meditate and try to find out which subject fascinates you, interests you. Select this subject as your choice of study. Remember, "there is always room at the top". If you work hard, you can surely achieve success in your chosen field.

It's very nice to read about setting aims in life so early. Congratulations for this. For becoming IPS, one needs to clear civil service exam. For this eligibility is graduation in any subject. Hence I would advise you to choose a subject that you like most. This will help you in preparing for civil service exam later. Presently work hard and study to learn the subject and not to obtain higher marks.
Best wishes.

Students do make mistakes while filling up online application forms but some fields are sacrosanct and are not allowed to be edited later but some fields are. It all depends who is controlling the system. In your case you have to approach system administrator for assistance and help.
