You must take admission in a local college that has Zoology as a major subject in B.Sc. Rest all will automatically fall in place. One most imp thing. Study for learning and not for higher marks. There is no problem with the gap provided you did something productive and relevant during this time. You must frame your SOP accordingly. Which country depends on your choice. Decide your research interests and start searching universities worldwide offering Ph.D. in your area. Contact the research heads. Inquire about scholarship, stipend, research work etc. Its Ph.D. admissions are not like other regular programs. You have to network with department and academic heads. Once you find a suitable option apply.

One can seek admission for PG only after obtaining a degree. If you have an ATKT means you have not passed graduation. Hence no admission, but after clearing your ATKT, you can seek admission for MA.

The dates of entrance examination for the year 2018 are not out. The registration process is soon to begin. Get yourself registered and keep yourself updated in the Delhi University website. The dates of the entrance exam will soon be uploaded.

For getting admission in MA rural development in NOU eligibility is graduation in any stream. Mainly Social studies graduates are preferred.Graduation with at least 50% for general. 45% for Reserved category students. You need to clear entrance exam ination.
