If your priorities include affordability, legacy academics, flexible structure, and a degree from a recognised central university — AU's MA might work well. However, if you're looking for up-to-date curriculum, strong industry exposure, vibrant campus culture, and extracurricular vibrancy, you may want to explore alternatives such as SHUATS (Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences) — which, in Allahabad, is considered among the best for mass communication with more modern offerings (though fees tend to be higher) .

The annual fee of MA Geography in BK Birla College is around 6000 to 7000 which makes a total of approximately 14000 for the full course. Other than this there are several other charges such as examination fee which is around 1000 per semester, 300 for admission fee which is to be paid once only, security deposit of around 500 which is refundable, around 300 library fee which is also to be paid once and is refundable. So it will cost you around 20000 for the full course. I would suggest you to visit the college in person so you get a better knowledge about the expenses.
