There are two semesters per year and each semester includes various core subjects, Value Addition Courses (VAC), Skill Enhancement Courses (SEC) and Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC). Yes, you can pursue a PhD after completing an MSc MLT course, provided you meet the eligibility criteria set by the respective institutions. After your MSc, you can opt for a PhD in fields like Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Research, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Molecular Medicine.

PhD programs typically require a strong academic background, research interest, and sometimes qualifying exams.

First you should choose the subject which is beneficial for you and you have more interest in it. If I talk about scope of these subjects, both subjects contains the largest approachs and application. But I suggest you should take Political Science (Hons). I think it's more helpful to give better knowledge. It will help in career building and in competitive exams scores.
