To secure a seat at DBUU for BA, applicants must start with submitting a duly-filled application form. The form has to be submitted along with the required documents and an application fee of INR 1,500. Before applying, candidates must ensure meeting the eligibility requirement for admission to their desired specialisation. After the application process, the university shortlists applicants based on their merit in Class 12/equivalent exam. Candidates who want to pursue PhD through VITREE must be aware of the eligibility. For architecture and planning, candidates must have a bachelor's degree, followed by a master's degree in relevant discipline or equiavalent. In addition, the minimum qualifying mark is 60% or CGPA - 6.5 on 10-point scale. Only full-time courses are applicable for PhD admission. 

Candidates applying for VITREE 2026 (PhD in engineering) must meet the following qualification criteria -

• Master's degree in engineering/technology in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or a CGPA on a 10-point scale

• M.Sc computer science, M.Sc (IT), and MCA degree holders are eligible to apply for PhD programme in computer Science engineering/information technology. 

For Direct PhD admissions, graduates must have an outstanding academic record in their bachelor's degree with a minimum of 75% marks or a CGPA of 7.5 on a 10-pointscale.
