The exact number of seats are not available as per official website. Selection is entirely based on merit score of Class 12. Students seeking admission can fill the application form. The college releases merit list of selected students. There are multiple lists released. After selection, students can confirm their admission by document verification and fee payment.

There is a seat reservation in college. It is as per State Government reservation policies. However, exact reservation details are not available as per official website. The university allows reservation of certain percentage of seats for SC/ST/OBC/EWS category. Merit list is common for all category students.

You can get admission by applying online through college website. After Class 12 results are out, register on official college website. Fill the application form, select “BCom” in course. Fill all necessary details and upload documents. Last step is to submit the application. Within a week of application deadline, merit list is released on website.

The eligibility to apply is Class 12. Students from Maharashtra HSC or any other recognised board can apply. First step in application process is registration. After registration, a username and password are generated. Students can login using the same and fill application form. Upload documents and submit your application. After this, merit list is released.

Yes, BCom is available at Siddharth College. It is offered in full-time mode for three years. Admissions are on the basis of Class 12 marks. Application form has to be filled on the college website. Selected students can find their name in merit list. After selection, document verification and fee payment is done.

Okay so let me clear this properly because when I was researching this myself, I got confused by the same question.

There are actually two different syllabuses you need to know about — one for getting admission into DU Economics Hons, and one for what you study after you get in. Most answers mix these up.

For Admission — CUET is the gate.

Since 2022, DU doesn't use class 12 marks directly anymore. Everything goes through CUET (Common University Entrance Test). For BA Economics Hons at DU, the subject combination you need to appear in is: any one language from List A + Mathematics + any two subjects (at least one from List B1). Your me

Yes, for some MA programs, Indian students would be required to have a relevant background to apply. Look at the pointers given below -

  • For most of the University of Manchester courses, a Humanities background is not mandatory. 
  • The students should have a minimum of 55% or higher in UG level from a recognised Indian university.

No, for most of the MA courses at Manchester University, the work on research experience is not mandatory as an Indian student. 

It is definately not always required but if an Indian student has a relevant experience, academic research or internships, they should use it in the application.

The MA programs offered by the University of Manchester are mostly taught based on these, which consist of lectures, seminars and coursework. Look at the pointers given below - 

  • In the first semester, Indian students will be taught mostly and then the students will be required to submit a research heavy dissertation
  • It is ideal for students who want a blend of intensive study and research experience.
