For a PhD in Psychology at IGNOU, you'll need to have a:
- Master's degree in Psychology (For example, MA in Psychology)
- The degree must be UGC-recognized

No, as per Madras University admission policy. The university does not require aspirants to take any entrance exam for MA admissions. Students who wish to take admission are just required to fill out the application form available on the university's official website and fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
