NITHM Gachibowli admission process is entrance-based for all the curses. Aspirants who fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria can apply through the institute official website. In the next step, applications are shortlisted based on candidates merit in the accepted exams. For example, for MBA, candidates are shortlisted based on score in CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/GMAT/ATMA.

Further, these selected candidates have to go through the selection rounds. After these rounds, seat allotment is carried out.

NITHM Hyderabad has a career development cell, which manages the placement activities. The students are provided internship as well as final placement assistance. The institute has not released placement report or brochure for MBA, as of now. As per the Shiksha students' reviews, the highest package offered in recent NITHM placements was INR 16 LPA.

The college offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, CSE - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Information Technology, with 180, 60, 120 and 120 students did so. Therefore, the total number of students eligible for B.Tech at KL University Hyderabad will depend on the number of seats available in each programme and the number of eligible admissions fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
