In this interview, which evaluates the candidate's general suitability for the PO role, questions on their credentials, professional background, and personal traits are asked. The IBPS PO Prelims cut-off for 2022 varied depending on the category of the candidate. 

  • General/EWS: The cut-off for the General and EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category was 49.75 marksout of 100.
  • OBC: Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates needed to score 49.75 marks as well.
  • SC: The cut-off for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates was 46.75 marks.
  • ST: Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates needed to secure 40.75 marks.

  • Quantitative Aptitude (35 Questions): includes: Simplification, Number Systems, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Average, Ratio & Proportion, Mixtures & Alligations, Simple, Compound Interest, Work & Time, Time & Distance, Mensuration (Area & Volume), Data Interpretation.
  • Reasoning Ability (35 Questions)

The total number of questions in the IBPS PO Prelims exam is 100, and the time limit is one hour.
