The syllabus for IBPS PO and SBI PO are quite similar, as they both cover a wide range of topics that are relevant to the banking industry. However, there are some key differences between the two. IBPS PO prelims exam 2023 was conducted online on September 23 & 30 at around 100 cities spread throughout the country. The prelims exam consists of three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language. The duration of the test is 60 minutes with sectional timings of 20 minutes. The test paper carries a total of 100 objective-type questions. Candidates qualifying the prelims exam are called for the Mains exam. The mains exam comprises both objective and subjective-type papers. The marks obtained in the prelims exam are not counted for the final merit list. Only the marks obtained in the mains exam are taken for the final merit list. Candidates qualifying the mains exam are called for interview.

IBPS Clerk prelims exam was conducted on August 26, 27 and September 3, 2023. The Mains exam was conducted on October 7, 2023. IBPS informed the exam dates for IBPS Clerk exam through its annual calendar. Candidates must keep the exam dates handy so that they do not miss any important event pertaining to the exam. In 2022, the prelims exam of IBPS Clerk was conducted on August 28, September 3 and 4, 2022. The Mains exam was conducted on October 8, 2022. The prelims exam of IBPS Clerk comprises three sections-Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and English Language. The test carries 100 marks. The mains exam comprises four sections-General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks allotted to the mains exam are 200.
