Candidates can choose one test cities each for prelims and Mains exam for the various IBPS exams. The examination authority reserves the right to allot test cities to candidates. The test cities are allotted to candidates as per their preferences.

Candidates are allowed to carry a ballpoint pen and ink stamp pad for affixing a thumb impression on the admit card. Stationery items such as textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner. Any communication device such as bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. are not allowed inside the IBPS exam centre.

Candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phones, any other communication devices, calculators, watches, cameras, metallic items, handbags, belts, caps, ornaments and any eatable items inside the IBPS exam centres. Anyone carrying these items will not be allowed to appear for the exam. They need to keep these belongings outside the exam centre.

The eligibility for various IBPS exams are different. The post-wise eligibility criteria is given below.

IBPS PO Eligibility

 The age limit of candidates for IBPS PO is between 20 and 30 years. The educational qualification prescribed for the exma is graduation.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility

To apply for IBPS Clerk exam, the age limit should be between 20 and 28 years. The educational qualification prescribed for the exam is graduation.
