Yes, you should have any professional degree for your further action. Even after graduation, if you can pursue MBA programme from top B school then also you have good chance to get growth and salary too.
You can opt for BBA in finance specialisation.

Being from a management background, I would advise you to go for MBA as it is more relevant to your current studies and future goals too (if you want to make a career in it). Though you can go for IBPS/any other banking exam as well; there is no harm in it. Both have their own pros and cons, it all depends upon your aspirations. Even after doing MBA, you can prepare for IBPS if you really want to.

In the rural bank's advertisement, they don't hire as PO but they hire as Officer Scale 1.
Officer scale 1 is an assistant manager grade in the banks
They work in all the sections of the bank branch during their probation period and after completion of the probation, they are given one work in the branch.
An office assistant is a clerical post in regional rural banks, in other govt banks, the name of the post is clerk.
So, clerks and office assistants are the same.
