IBS Mumbai PGPM is a full-time post graduate programme which is industry recognised programme whereas PGDM is a Diploma programme approved by AICTE and is also equivalent to 2 years full time MBA programme. Ideally, you should look for companies visiting the campus for placements but if your campus is providing good opportunities then the degree should not matter but since you have 2.5 years of work ex I would recommend you to go in for PGDM programme with a good institution.

Out these colleges in my opinion, KIAMS is the best, because of the college environment and also has an average package of INR. 5 Lacs to INR. 5 6 Lacs and this college provides other facilities not available in other colleges. Hello, IBS HYDERABAD is the flagship Institute of the ICFAI group. IBS Mumbai is the second best campus. Bangalore however is not that good. PGPM in Mumbai campus is good. The curriculum is based on case studies.

I guess Mumbai does offer IT but not operations. Pune offers operations, though I don't have enough idea about Pune.
