The placements in IBS Mumbai are good, in fact, better than expectations. The highest package goes upto Rs 11.5 lakhs for few selected companies such as JP Morgan Chase, Darashaw, etc. The average package goes upto Rs 5 lakhs to 6.5 lakhs for certain companies like E clerx, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Kotak Securities, Kotak Prime, HDFC Bank, Tata AIG, Bharti AXA, Lodha Group, Indiabulls Securities, Indiabulls Real estate. Yes, absolutely. IBS Hyderabad is much better than IBS Mumbai in terms of infrastructure, education, faculty, hostel facility, extra curriculum activities, campus facility and lots more. The placements is definitely good and way better as compared to Mumbai campus as the fees is high, so the ROI would be definitely better and bigger than IBS Mumbai placements. Even the number of companies, placement package, and rest other things are too good anytime in comparison to IBS Mumbai. If given a choice I would suggest anyone IBS Hyderabad over IBS Mumbai. Hi Aditi,
It's a decent B-school for pursuing Finance, provided you don't have better options available (JBIMS, NMIMS, SP Jain, Somaiya, Sydenham, etc). The college officials haven't posted anything specifically about the placement figures for Finance. So, you need to directly contact them for further information:

Yes, PGPM does have dual specialization. The specialization could be a combination of Marketing + Finance, Marketing + HR, Marketing + Operations, Marketing + IT, Finance + HR, Finance + Operations, Finance + IT, and so on. 2 subjects of each specialization. There is also majors + minors of specialization wherein you could choose or select 3 subjects of one specialization which would be your major specialization and anyone subject of either banking, operations, finance and IT which would be considered as your minors specialization, both the ways of selecting subjects are good. Selection of the subject is usually based on the kind of fi

Visit www.ibsindia.org , you will get everything you require right from the E Brochure, placements, admission, eligibility criteria, selection process for admission in different IBS Centers, IBSAT (Aptitude Test), Group Discussions, Personal Interviews, etc. If possible, visit IBS Mumbai, Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Opposite Hiranandani Hospital, Powai and ask for FTP department at the entrance, they will provide you detail assistance. Rest is as you wish. E Brochure is not available with me as the institute keeps it confidential to share it publicly with others, sorry for the inconvenience.
