If you are planning to pursue PGPM from IBS, Mumbai then don't worry about AICTE approval as when companies would visit for placements they will be concerned more of what you possess as an MBA candidate. The colleges will give you ample opportunities. Nevertheless the crowd strength is quiet huge but it's a decent college with good faculty.

Definitely Balaji. It has decent placements, good campus and low fee structure which gives it an edge over others. Biggies like Amazon have started recruiting from Balaji Institutes and offered a salary package of 14 LPA last year.

Both the institutions are special in there own sense. So try to bring out what you are looking for in an institute. Amity Mumbai provides 2 year PGPM+MBA program whereas IBS, Mumbai also provides 2 year full time PGPM program with an option for MBA degree also. You should look for there placements on their respective website.

Placements in IBS for operations are okay like there are not many companies which come to the campus with operations profile but there are few which come in.

It is a very average B- School with a very high student intake. Would suggest you to avoid it and try for better B-School in Mumbai like K.J Somaiya, Welingkar and others.

Hello Neeraj! Apologies for the late reply! IBS is a slightly better option than NSB due to its brand and location. Being located in Mumbai, you can expect good corporate exposure. Placements too are decent there I.e. average package is around Rs 5 lakhs. https://www.shiksha.com/resources/college-comparison-130881-159595

Basically, first of all, look for the area of specialization which you want to opt for in MBA. Look after the placements, average CTC offered, etc. There are various parameters to judge and it goes without saying that no 2 institutes are similar. Everyone has some uniqueness. Wherein, its USP is the summer internship program of 14 weeks i.e approximately 3 months, whereas, other institutes conduct it for 2 months or so.

IBS, Mumbai has good campus placements for final and also for the summer internship. The faculty over here is very nice and decent and who come from a wide industry experience across different sectors. Case study method is used in the sessions also, the institute has a wide number of clubs which cater to the needs of students as per their area of interest. IBS also has its own case research center where case studies are created and which I think is the USP of it.
