Based on IBS Mumbai cutoff 2024, the cutoff percentile required for MBA stood at 70 percentile overall in CAT 2025. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of the scores obtained in entrance exams like CAT. XAT, NMAT, IBSAT  are called for the Personal Interview round where candidates are further screened for final selection at the institute. The sectional cut off in CAT for MBA at IBS Mumbai stood at 40 for the General AI category candidates.

Both IBS Mumbai and MIT-WPU are good options to pursue PGPM. However, in terms of affordability,  IMS Mumbai is slightly more affordable since the tuition fees to pursue PGPM at IBS Mumbai is INR 9.09 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue PGPM at MIT-WPU is INR 9.40 lakh.

To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and the highest salary. As per official sources, the fees to pursue PGPM at IBS Mumbai and ITM Business School is INR 9.09 Lacs and INR 12.45 lakh, respectively. In terms of fees, IBS Mumbai is a better choice. 

Moreover, as per placement data available on Shiksha, the highest salaries offered to PGPM students at IBS Mumbai and ITM Business School are INR 20 LPA and INR 14 LPA. In terms of package, PGPM from IBS Mumbai is a better choice.

Yes, IBS Mumbai offers a lot of merit-based scholarships for PGPM students based on the scores achieved in CAT, XAT, GMAT, NMAT, and IBSAT entrance exams. Check out the list below to know more-

  1.  For CAT: Top 75 candidates with a minimum score of 90 percentile and above
  2.  For XAT: Top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 80 percentile and above
  3.  For GMAT- The top 25 candidates with a minimum score of 550 and above are qualified for scholarship
  4.  For NMAT by GMAC takes in the top 100 candidates with a minimum score of 225 and above for scholarship

IBS Mumbai PGPM admissions are entrance-based. Thus, students applying for admission must have appeared in any one of the accepted entrance exams: GMAT/NMAT/CAT/IBSAT/XAT. However, the selection to the programme is not made only on the basis of entrance test scores.
