No, you are not eligible for M.Sc. in maths. All the universities require B.Sc with maths. However, you can do it from IGNOU (distance mode).

The best option is to apply for IMUCET. It is the entrance examination for Indian Maritime University that provides technical education in naval science. It would be the best option if you truly want to join merchant navy. From there you will receive many offers and opportunities to become a merchant navy officer.

Hi Vasima, The only formula to success is hard work and dedication. Go through your syllabus properly and after that, go through sample question papers like ten years for practice and to understand the pattern of the examination.

Firstly, have very less distractions and complete focus on the exam. It is indeed an important step. Plan your study timetable under the supervision of parent and teacher. Prioritise the subjects you are weak and let there be a healthy balance in all subjects. Follow a good time table and set specific and measurable goals on a weekly basis. Get your performance and progress reviewed by a parent/teacher/mentor. Keep your study in the direction of doing well from exam point of view. Take care of health and have good food and regular sleep. Don't miss out on some form of physical exercise.

Please note that NCHMCT rank is valid for one year only, because of you have the rank of year-2017, so you can not get admission in any IHM on the basis of this rank. However few private institutes of NCHMCT are offering the admission, for those who missed NCHMCT JEE-2018. For more details please visit NCHMCT website or contact directly.
