There is no subject-wise weighting in the ESE examination. Objective paper 1 asks almost similar questions from all the sections. In subjective, you can focus more on communication systems, analog communication, electronics, and digital electronics for paper 2. If you go thoroughly to the last 5 to 20 years' pattern, you will notice that they asked questions from all subjects. So focus on the entire syllabus. Cover each and every topic so you don't miss anything in paper 1 and Paper 2. Because in the objective paper, you will find questions from all subjects like history, politics, geography, Current Affairs etc.

If we looked at the overall rankings of these institutes, Welingkar &get; SIES &get; Dalmia &get; Chetana. So, Welingkar would be your first preference. All the colleges are average and almost equal in terms of everything. Still, if you want to choose one among the three I would suggest you go with Chetna then IES then MET. Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!

After BSc in Biotechnology, you can consider pursuing a PG diploma in Lab Technician, Bioinformatics, and Life Sciences. If you are aiming for a master's you can pursue MSc in Toxicology, Botany, Microbiology, Public Health, Applied Biology, Virology, Nanotechnology, or Pharmacology. We hope this helps.
