For admission to the IES MCRC PGDM course, students must ensure that they fulfil the conditions stated in the eligibility criteria. As per the criteria, students must have completed a UG degree with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Other than this, students must have appeared for any one of the various accepted entrance exams.

Hi,

The IES exam offers various engineering branches, and you'll need to opt the one that is most closely related to Production Engineering background. The closest options would be Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering probably, based on the specific courses you've taken in your degree.

Other than that, you'll also need to fulfill some basic eligibility criteria by the UPSC, that conducts the IES exam. These criteria are being an India citizen, having a minimum educational qualification, and being within the specified age limit.

The following are the requirements for admission to the IES MCRC MBA program:
Entrance Exam Results: To be admitted, candidates must receive at least an 85 percentile on the written aptitude test (CAT, MAT, etc.).
Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% of total points, or the equivalent, is required of candidates.

IES Mumbai Admission Eligibility Criteria

  1. MBA: IESMCRC Mumbai eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline

As per UPSC, any government official applying for IES/ ESE will get the age relaxation even if he/she is already working on a post which is considered of a higher officer cadre. There is an age relaxation for the ones who have worked with any government organisation on contractual basis for a period of 3 years or more.
