IHM Mumbai BSc admission process is entrance-based. Candidates fulfilling the required eligibility criteria are selected for admission based on their score in the NCHMCT JEE examination. This national-level exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), annually.
In addition to the written test the candidate has to appear for an Interview of 100 marks and the questions will be based on attitude of the candidates. The Admission in Hotel Management courses will be offered on the basis of marks obtained in written test as well as the performance in Interview.

ITM Institute of Hotel Management
The college offers courses in BA, B.Sc, and Diploma programs in Hospitality, Culinary, and Hospitality & Tourism Management. It is ranked 34th by The Week all over India and it comes within the top 10 colleges in Mumbai
IHM Mumbai is the only government Hotel Management college in India ranked by Outlook. The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition Mumbai is ranked 3rd and is the best Hotel Management college in Mumbai.

The average tuition fee charged for the course in India ranges between INR 1 and 3.5 Lacs for a span of 3 years, and the average annual salary offered in the country to such professionals ranges between INR 3 and 7 Lacs, increasing with experience and expertise.
Doing M.Sc in IHM Chandigarh is decent and since it is a government funded college so it is cheaper than other private colleges .

3 year Bsc degree in hospitality and hotel administration is best in IHMs.
BSc in Hotel Management is a 3-year full-time undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2 qualification) with a minimum aggregate score of 50% in best four relevant subjects.
The programme is spread over 6 semesters, with the final 2 semesters being based on the candidate’s chosen stream of study. It is a good stream in good college

The applicants must belong to the Economically Backward Class (EBC) of Chandigarh. They must be of General category other than SC, ST and OBC.
The annual family income of the candidates must not be more than INR 1 Lacs from all sources.
The candidates must be pursuing post-matriculation courses from any recognised institutions.
The applicants who after completing one stage of education like B.Com. are studying in the same stage such as B.Arch., are ineligible for the scholarship.
