You must meet the following requirements in order to be admitted to Chandigarh's Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management:
- You need to have obtained a passing grade in 10+2 with English as a required subject from a recognised higher secondary board.
- You have to clear the NCHM Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMJEE) and achieve a high rank.
- You must participate in the NCHMCT's counseling session and choose IHM Chandigarh as your preferred institution

The NCHMCT JEE (National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination) is the entrance exam for the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management Chandigarh 2023. It is an online exam conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission to B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.The three-hour exam measures applicant's aptitude for the service sector, English language proficiency, analytical thinking and reasoning skills, G.K and current events, and numerical ability.
