To get admission into this course, applicants must complete a bachelor's degree or three-year Diploma in Hotel Management courses with at least an aggregate of 55%. Additionally, there is no age bar for applying to MSc at IHM Chandigarh.

IHM Chennai and IHM Chandigarh both accept the scores of NCHMT MSc JEE for admissions to MSc courses. Hence, the admission process is almost similar for both institutions, as the first requirement is that candidates must complete their graduation with an aggregate of 55%; then they must appear for the NCHMT MSc JEE, followed by counselling. Therefore, it is hard to determine which institute is easier to get admission into MSc courses.
