IHM Chennai accepts NCHMCT JEE ranks for admission to BSc courses, followed by counselling. IHM Chennai NCHMCT JEE Cutoff 2025 has been released for Round 1. The cutoff rank was released for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration for different categories under the AI Quota. For the General AI Category candidates, the cutoff rank stood at 3063. The first round cutoff for the same course was 3609 in 2024 and 3258 in 2023. Considering the Round 1 cutoff ranks over three years, it is evident that the BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration saw a fluctuating trend in its closing ranks for the General AI quota.

You must have a bachelor's degree in hospitality and hotel administration from NCHMCT or IGNOU in order to be eligible for the M.Sc. in hospitality administration at IHM Chennai. An AICTE-approved institution may also accept a bachelor's degree in hotel management and catering technology. The website makes no indication of an age restriction. The MSc. programme has a built in specialisation in Semester III wherein students have the option to take up either Human Resource Management or Sales & Marketing Post Graduate.

Available to recent graduates with a degree or certificate in hotel management, and focuses on the service industry, as opposed to conventional MBAs. Include a specialised track, group projects, and industry mentorship and offers chances for professional growth and networking.

About 347 students can be admitted each year to IHM Chennai's BSc programme for Hospitality and Hotel Administration courses. The real number of admissions fluctuates according to programme conversions and open seats. There are roughly 350–400 undergraduate students enrolled in each batch.
