No, the Ideal Institute of Engineering, Kalyani is not under the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Instead, the institute offers admissions to candidates in the BTech cours on the basis of WBJEE, JEE Mains, JELET exams. While, admissions to the BBA course are merit-based, hence CUET is not required for admission in Ideal Institute of Engineering, Kalyani.

  • Economics
  • Law
  • Computer Applications
  • Accounts
  • Hotel and Hospitality Managmenent, etc.

Yes, candidates may get admission in the BBA course at Ideal Institute of Engineering, IIE Kalyani with 60% in Class 12. The institute has not specified the minimum aggregate required for admission in BBA course, however, since 60% is considered a decent score candidates can apply for the same. Admissions to the BBA programme are merit-based and merit of Class 12 is accepted.

No, candidates cannot get selected for BTech at Ideal Institute of Engineering, Kalyani without an entrance exam. Candidates must appear for the WBJEE or JEE Main entrance exam for admission. However, if seats remain vacant after e-counselling, candidates can get admission in BTech through the merit system. But for this too, the entrance exam rank of WBJEE, JEE Mains or JELET is compulsory.
