Therefore, a cutoff rank below the rank mentioned here is considered to be a good rank for getting an IT branch at IIIT Allahabad. IIIT Allahabad is a widely preferred institute by students for engineering programs . Admission at IIIT Allahabad is accepted after qualifying the national level entrance examination - JEE Mains (Joint Entrance Examination) .
Due to the higher number of applicants and the fixed number of seats, 2342 in the OBC category cannot be considered as a safe rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Mains) 2024 .

IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023 for the BTech course has been released upto Round 8 seat allotment results. Candidates having a valid JEE Main scores are called for the JoSAA Counselling followed by the CSAB Counselling. JoSAA Counselling 2023 was held upto Round 6 followed by the CSAB Counselling, which was held upto two Special Rounds. During IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the last round closing rank was 5924 for B.Tech. in Information Technology course, 9558 for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and 6587 for B.Tech. in Information Technology (Business Informatics).

As of May 6, 2024,the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT Allahabad) has not released the official cutoff for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. However, the 2023 CAT cutoff percentile for the MBA program was 78 for the General category.Candidates with a percentile of at least 80 may have a good chance of being selected for the MBA program.
To be eligible for admission to the MBA program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Have a bachelor's degree that is at least three years long
- Have a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA
- SC/ST category students must have a minimum aggregate

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per IIIT Allahabad JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 9270 for General category candidates in All India quota for Electronics & Communication Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 15613 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
