Both IIIT Bhagalpur and NIT Patna are well reputed institutes and are highly preferred by students.
IIIT Bhagalpur has been ranked 40 under the NIRF, whereas NIT Patna has been ranked 56, in the year 2023. The placement records of both the institutes are relatively good with 100 percent at IIIT Bhagalpur and 80-85 percent for NIT Patna.
the highest package offered at IIIT Bhagalpur was INR 89 lacs approximately, while that of NIT Patna was INR 52 Lacs per annum.

IIIT Bhagalpur BTech cutoff 2023 for Electronics & Communication Engineering was 16508 for OBC category. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Main, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

JEE Main Round 6, has been released for admission to the BTech courses. As per IIIT Bhagalpur JEE Main cutoff 2023, the Round 6 closing rank was 38522 for General category candidates in All India quota for Computer Science Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 41557 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
