There are very low chances of your admission in these colleges because your rank is not good. You will get a NIT or good college if you belong to a SC, ST category. Please try JoSAA app on play store, and use it's college cutoff and college predictions.

Hello Vivek, To secure admission at IITs, you need to clear JEE Advanced with a good score for which you can appear only after clearing JEE Mains. Hence, if you have a good rank in JEE Advanced you can get a good IIT. With JEE Mains score, you can only apply for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs through JoSAA counseling.

Thapar University is not that good now as it was 8-10 years back. It is now a common private college with unusually high fees. It's placement record has decreased. IIIT is better than Thapar University in terms of placements, students, and faculty. I will suggest IIIT. Best wishes.

After JEE Advanced, the procedure is quite simple! Just wait for the results to come. Once the results are out, there will befilling up of choices online. Then comes the mock seat allocation, in this process you will get to know which seat you will get according to your preferences. Then you will have 1 day time to change your choices if you want. Then the first round seat allocation takes place. Now comes the main part, document verification. You need to go to the nearest IIT and get your documents verified. If all your documents are verified, then your seat will be confirmed. Congrats.
The procedure is same for NITs too. Hope this ans

Hi there,
No admission form. It is only through JOSAA. When the portal opens, you have to select which branches of which colleges you are applying for. You can set the priority of your choices by arranging them linearly with topmost choice of higher preference. You have to select the choices before a stipulated time. After locking of choices, based on your rank you will start getting your college from your choice list. If you are not satisfied, you can wait for subsequent rounds so that an upgrade of choice can occur. Once you get a seat and you are satisfied you have to report to the nearest centre to finalize your seat.

Hi,
Hope you are doing well. See, normal B.Tech course is of 4 years, but this course is of 5 years. Moreover, you will complete the course of 6 years in 5 years itself. It is highly research involved. But, generally people do not prefer it. I too don't know the reason for that. Hope, this helps you. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
