However, a few newer IIITs or GFTIs may still have openings in streams like Metallurgy, Production, or even Civil in later rounds. Keep an eye on spot round announcements and also consider private colleges with good reputations and lateral entry or transfer options in the second year.

You might not get good NIT colleges and also good branch in NIT, you might have to take lower NIT and the branches will be like civil, chemical, environmental engineering

While for IIIT, you can try for IIIT Nagpur with lower branch, also, you can try. IIIT Ranchi.
