While you might not get into the top-tier NITs or IIITs for core branches like CSE, you can likely secure a seat in other branches or in lower-ranked NITs/IIITs.

The total tuition fee for the BTech course at NIELIT Aurangabad ranges from INR 2.1 Lacs to INR 3.2 lakh. Additionally, the tuition fee for BTech at IIIT Dharwad is INR 15.1 lakh. Hence, the tuition fee of NIELIT Aurangabad is more affordable than IIIT Dharwad. Moreover, fee structure is the only component that candidates can consider for comparing colleges. He can try for the branches other than CSE and ECE in low range. You can likely get into some IIITs but not the top one's. The specific IIITs available will depend on the category branch and the overall seat availability.

IIIT Dharwad accepts JEE Main scores for admission to BTech programs. The JEE Main cutoff has been released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates, according to the last round, ranged from 56863 to 73989. Therefore, the lowest cutoff rank for admission among the General AI category was 56863, which was admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering.
