IIIT

So basically, the syllabus for SRM, VITEEE, GITAM, and most IIIT entrance exams is not something completely different. All of them are mostly based on your Class 11 and 12 NCERT. If you're preparing for JEE Main, you're already covering a big part of it.

Let me break it down in a simple way.

SRM (SRMJEEE)

The syllabus is pretty straightforward — just your 11th and 12th Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Along with that, they also include English and a bit of aptitude.

The questions are not too tricky. If your basics are clear, especially in topics like mechanics, basic electricity, organic chemistry, and calculus, you'll be fine. Compared to JEE, it's definitely on the easier side.

VITEEE

This one is quite similar to SRM, but slightly more balanced and sometimes a bit more detailed.

You'll again have Physics, Chemistry, Maths, plus English and aptitude. The level is moderate — not too hard, not too easy.

Important areas to focus on would be:

• Calculus and coordinate geometry in Maths
• Modern physics and current electricity in Physics
• Organic + inorganic NCERT in Chemistry

If your NCERT is strong, you're already in a good position.

GITAM (GAT)

This exam is also based on the same PCM syllabus, but it adds reasoning and English into the mix.

The level is generally easier compared to VITEEE. Apart from PCM, just make sure you practice a bit of:

• Logical reasoning
• Basic aptitude questions

Nothing too advanced here.

IIIT Exams (like UGEE)

This is where things get a little different.

They still ask from Physics and Maths, but the focus is more on how you think, not just what you've memorized.

You'll see more:

• Logical reasoning
• Analytical questions
• Concept-based problems

So here, understanding concepts properly matters more than just formulas.

In short (simple truth):

All these exams are built around the same base:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Maths
• a little aptitude/English

You don't need separate preparation for each one.

If you:

• Study NCERT properly
• Practice JEE Main level questions
• And do a bit of aptitude

…you're basically covering all of them together.

Candidates have to carry both original as well as copies of the below mentioned documents at the time of admission at IIIT Bhopal:

• Printout of the Admission Form from IIIT Bhopal website duly filled and signed by candidate and parents
• Document Verification-cum-Seat Acceptance Letter issued by Reporting Centre (Original)
• Seat Allotment letter (the latest Round)
• JEE Score card & Admit card (must be original)
• Class 10 marksheet
• Class 12 marksheet
• Transfer Certificate
• Character Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• Aadhaar Card
• OBC candidates are advised to produce the Certificate for Admission to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs) under the Government of India
• EWS candidates are advised to submit/produce the relevant EWS Certificate for Admission issued by competent authority on or after 1st April, 2024.
• If there is a gap between Class 12 and joining the course at IIIT Bhopal an affidavit on Rs. 100/- Stamp paper/Court stamp from notary for duration of gap
• Medical certificate
• Anti-Ragging affidavits
