It is the number 1 Agribusiness management programme in India which is recognized worldwide.
Students of this program study one complete year with PGP students of IIM-A (their flagship programme) and stay with them. The kind of diverse environment you get here is phenomenal.

As per your query, it seems that your long term goal is to pursue MBA, so regarding this please remember in order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT
