Before I mention the salaries, let me start by saying that there are two types of placements:
The Summer Placements: These are internships and salary may range from a few lakhs to even 10,000 per month and is for a period of two to three months. This internship may turn into a full time job based on your performance.

Having acquired an advanced degree in bioinformatics we are assuming that you are already looking at full time employment and hence it is advised that you pursue your MBA via the distance learning mode.
There are plenty of good offers ( and an even larger number of not so good ones) to choose from.
There are distance learning programs offered by top notch institutes as well as those offered by Tier-2 institutes that offer good value for money in terms of acceptability. While the structure of all these programs remains more or less the same( curriculum , internal assessment and exams) the fees, duration and mode of examinations may vary.
