IIM Amritsar releases CAT percentile for MBA admission. Aspirants must score equal or above the specified percentile to get an interview call from the institute. As per the 2023 CAT cutoff for IIM Amritsar, the overall percentile was 95 whereas, it was 94 in 2022. Candidates near to 94 have a good chance of getting a call from the institute.

The qualifying CAT cutoff of IIM Amritsar is the minimum percentile that candidates must score to be eligible for an interview call for WAT/GD-PI, while the final CAT cutoff is the percentile that candidates must obtain to participate in the WAT/GD-PI round. The former is released with the admission criteria of the institute before the CAT exam while the latter is released after the declaration of CAT result. Yes, for admission to the MBA programme at IIM Amritsar, candidates must secure a valid CAT percentile in both categories, i.e. overall and section-wise category which should be above the closing percentile mentioned in the cut-off list released by IIM Amritsar.
Candidates based on their CAT percentile/ score will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview (PI) round. Hence, candidates aspiring to take admission to the MBA programme at IIM Amristar must prepare well for the CAT exam.
