May be not into IIMB (they emphasis more on academic grades), but other Iims can surely shortlist you if you have good grades in other academic classes and CAT percentile. Moreover if you are other than gen male engineering. , then you have more chances of getting calls from Iims.

In top IIMS your 10th ,12th marks matters. It gives a huge advantage as it defines the consistency of a student. This practice is mostly followed by old IIMS like AHMEDABAD, BANGALORE, FMS, LUCKNOW, INDORE. For more information please visit the official website of the college or university. Hope it

In general, there aren't any specific books to refer to for the entrance preparation however I would highly recommend you to prepare on the languages part, read them as much as contents, editorials and important articles by various authors these shall help you along.
