As of now, just be consistent in your efforts and try to score as high as possible in CAT. That should be your prime focus. Interview and selection should be a secondary concern to you but I will mention a few insights.
10th and 12th marks are of concern but if you get the interview call, prepare well for it. You must showcase some achievements apart from academics and must have full knowledge about it as they will ask you in detail about it. The admissions in IIMs are based on percentile obtained in Common Admission test (A Management Entrance Test). The academic performance, Group discussion, Personal Interview, Work experience and Extra curricular activities are the other parameters considered in selection of the candidates. For admission point of view you have to obtain at lest 98 percentile in CAT exam. While the minimum cutoff is above 80 percentile. In academic performance, the marks are given according to the percentage obtained in class 10th, class 12th and in graduation. Hence, you are not getting the full marks for your academic performance.

Based on your profile you will have to score near perfect CAT score and do extremely well in GDPI to get admission in any of the top IIMs.

That said, the general picture is that Iims prefer a well rounded personality - viz, you have to be excellent in your acads as well as in other co-curricular activities. As you can see from the above a CGPA of less than 6 would fetch you a very low rating. So, its difficult, but not impossible.

Either 75% or Among Top 20 Percentile in Qualifying Exam:
Candidates should have secured either 75% in Qualifying Examination or should be among Top 20 Percentile of respective School Board.For the SC / ST candidates, the minimum marks percentage in Qualifying Examination is 65%.
