Candidates have to pay a caution deposit of INR 20,000 for IIM Ranchi MBA course admission. This fee is as per the 2025-27 fee structure. The deposit is refundable at the time of leaving the institute. This is also subject to dues adjustment, if any.

No, candidates cannot get direct admission at IIM Ranchi. Aspirants are shortlisted for the flagship MBA course based on CAT followed by PI and profile score. For IPM, candidates have to pass IPMAT. Admission in Executive MBA is based on performance of the aspirants in the PI round.

The IIM Ranchi admission process is simple and it is done in online mode. The details are mentioned below:
- The first step is to register for the right entrance exams - CAT.
- Register as a new user and enter your basic details.
- Get the email verified.
- Complete the form.
- Pay the fee with a credit card/debit card or net banking and submit it.
The application fee for CAT Registration is INR 2,400 (For General category) and INR 1,200 (For SC/ST/ PwD)
