There is no official update regarding the hostel fee at IIM Ranchi. However, as per some unofficial sources, it costs INR 1.20 lakh (approximately). The housing facility at IIM Ranchi consists of separate blocks for girls and boys. IIM Ranchi has a fully Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The housing facility consists of a mix of three- and four-bedroom shared flats that are fully furnished, serviced, and equipped with five-star facilities. Each block consists of a mess and a canteen which remain open for nearly twenty hours a day on average, and a dispensary for medical concerns. Yes, IIM Ranchi is a good institute. It is ranked 24 among the top Management colleges in India by NIRF 2023. IIM Ranchi is also renowned for its IPM (Integrated Programme in Management), which is an integrated 5-year programme that comprises IIM1 and MBA. Students after Class 12 can join the IPM by appearing for the IPMAT examination. IIM Ranchi offers good placements. As per the recent placement statistics, the highest international and domestic packages offered during IIM Ranchi MBA placements 2023 stood at INR 67.00 LPA and INR 35.50 LPA, respectively.

CAT Institute of Management Ranchi accepts CAT scores, followed by the Personal Interview round for admission to the MBA course. As per the IIM CAP criteria, the expected qualifying CAT cut off for the batch of 2023-25 is 93 percentile for the General category students. For admission to IIM Ranchi for the flagship MBA (or PGP) course, the result of CAT 2023 can be expected by the last week of December 2023 (If the CAT conducting body follows the trend as in 2022). However, if the trend is not followed, the same will most probably be out by the first week of January 2024. After the release of result, the exam takers will be able to download their CAT scorecards from the official website using their login credentials for IIM Ranchi admission.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Ranchi, the CAT test was conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Ranchi are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:
Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

Yes, CAT 2023 dates for admission to IIM Ranchi are out. To apply for the CAT exam, candidates are required to create an account, fill the CAT registration form and pay the exam application fee. The 2023 CAT form have to be submitted by a certain deadline after which no application will be accepted. For 2023 CAT exam, CAT registration will go on between Aug 2 and Sep 20. The exam will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Students are required to appear for the CAT 2023 exam in Computer Based Testing mode at allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 for IIM Ranchi admission will be held in three slots. These are as follows:
