To be safe, you need to score a percentile of about 95 and above in general category, 91 in SC, 88 in ST and there is no OBC quota and then a good performance in PIs etc. One can never determine an average percentile based on the available data. Also getting an interview call based on percentile isn't sufficient, of course if your final target is to convert the call

No. You need to be specific when you ask such questions. There are several factors the institutions consider while giving a call. For certain categories, it may go upto such a percentile. But in general category, it generally stays in the upper 90s. A percentile has a weightage in the final selection criteria. So generally final selections are concluded in the upper 90s of percentile itself. Further an institute may consider lowering its percentile requirement for interview call to accommodate more diversity. But to answer your question in its basic sense, NO.

Yes. And a new one is also coming up. If you want even better facilities, you can also go for a gym outside the campus.

Hello Archish, this is a pretty rare case where i got someone with the same name. Anyways coming to your doubt, i would suggest NMIMS over IIM Shillong. NMIMS scores over IIM S in almost all aspects, be it brand value, placements, alumni base, location or faculties.
NMIMS has been standing tall since 35 years compared to the 9 year old IIM S. When you compare Mumbai to Shillong, its pretty evident which location will have an advantage given that Mumbai is the commercial capital of the country. If you look at the placement history, NMIMS with its large batch strength is way ahead. Alums of NMIMS are spread all over the world. These shou

Dear Partha90783,
As I am PGP student and not from PGPex, I would not be the best person to answer your query. I suggest you get in touch with an IIM Shillong candidate of the PGPex Program.
All the best!

Dear Girdhar78516,
There is no fixed percentile level (upper and lower) for both general and other categories. It is subjective for IIM Shillong as your academic background, 10th, 12th and graduation scores, work experience, diversity that you bring to the batch etc. factors are also given considerable importance.
Hope it helps!
Thanks

Dear Biswajeet40659,
A gap in your academic or professional career would not stop you from getting in an IIM, provided you excel on other parameters such CAT score, Personal Interview, WAT etc. Significant extra curriculars and community service also might help you in adding value to your profile.
Hope it helps, all the best!
Thanks
