The minimum academic score required for IIM admission through CAT is 50 percent in Graduation. For SC/ST/PwD categories, the minimum score requirement in 45 percent.

Candidates wishing to take admission in the PhD progarmme at IIM Jammu should have completed a Master's & Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate OR Professional qualification (CA, ICWA, CS) or BTech/BE with at least 50% aggregate OR Integrated Master's degree programme in any discipline with 60% aggregate. Age should be less than 40 years

Yes, admission is open at IIM Jammu for the academic session 2026. CAT exam is already over and results have been declared. The college is conducting selection rounds for MBA. JIPMAT registration for admission in five-year integrated programme is ongoing. PhD admission is also open. Last date to apply for JIPMAT is May 10, 2026.

IIM Jammu accepts variety of exams depending upon the course. The college accepts CAT score for admission into it's flagship course MBA. The college accepts the score of CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/JRF for PhD admissions. Admission into IPM programme is given based on score of JIPMAT scores.

CMAT score is not valid for admission to IIMs. Candidates who have appeared for CMAT exam can select from over 1300 other MBA colleges in India to pursue the course.

Yes, SC and ST students enrolled in IIM Trichy MBA course can apply for central scholarships to get financial support. These schemes are named Central Sector Scholarship for ST students and Central Sector Scholarship for SC students that cover the entire tuition fee and often provide monthly allowances.
