IIM Trichy - Indian Institute of Management Courses

The admission cycle for MBA course at IIMs begins with the release of CAT notification. CAT 2024 exam for admission to the 2025-27 batch was conducted on Nov 24. The result is announced by the exam conducting body. Candidates further who fulfils the cutoff criteria shall be eligible for admission followed by participation in other selection rounds. 

The two-year PGPM course of IIM Trichy is divided into six terms. Hence, there are three terms in one year of the programme. The first year curriculum has core subjects. The total tuition fee for DPM course of IIM Trichy is INR 10 lakh. It is excluding the accommodation and food fee. Moreover, the institute allow candidates to pay the fee amount in four installments. The mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is however, still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Moreover, the admission to the course is through IIMB test. The round two of the IIMB test for 2024-25 batch is scheduled on Feb 2, 2025. Additionally, the registration deadline for IIMB test second round is Jan 24, 2025 (5 pm).

The duration of IIM Trichy DPM/PhD course is five-years. The maximum duration by which a candidate must complete the course is seven years. In the first eighteen months of the course, candidates have to complete a coursework, which includes study of general management subjects, advanced courses in the respective areas of specialisation, fundamental courses for management research, and programmes in research methodologies. Furthermore, aspirants have to earn at least a minimum of 54 credits. 

Indian Institute of Management, Trichy offer a full-time Doctoral Programme in Management (DPM). This course focuses on research training. It is offered in eight specialisations, including Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Stratergy, etc. IIM Trichy PhD applications are accepted via online mode. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria are shortlisted based on educational records and scores of CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMB Test/UGC-JRF.
