IISER Berhampur provides an option of admission through three channels. Students can apply through any channel. The below-mentioned is in-depth information about various channels of admission:
- IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) Channel: Students applying through the IAT channel must appear in the IISER Aptitude Test which is usually conducted at various centres across the country
- Joint Entrance Exam (Advanced): Candidates aspiring to get admission under the JEE channel must have qualified for the JEE (Advanced) in 2023 within rank 15,000 in respective category rank lists or the common rank lists.

IISER Berhampur BSc fees for the five-year programme is INR 3.92 Lakh, The final round closing rank for IISER Berhampur BSc admission was 3,567 in 2023 . The fees for each semester is quite nominal (ranges from 15k to 20k, depending on the semester). In addition, a very large fraction of us get scholarship (5k a month, for a BS-MS student).
