From the third semester of IIT Bhubaneswar BTech in Mechanical Engineering, the subjects are more focused on specialisation. The curriculum include both theory and practical subejcts. Mentioned below are the topics covered in the third semester of the programme:

IIT Bhubaneswar BTech fee structure include various one-time fee components. The caution money (refundable) fee is INR 12,000. The other one-time fee is INR 8,000. It includes various components, some of which are listed below:
- Hostel admission fee

- Career development fee, etc.
