IIT JAM 2026 exam date was February 15, 2026. The exam was held at multiple test cities. JAM exam was conducted as computer based test for three hours.

IIT Jam, the exam is conducted online as a Computer Based Test (CBT). The IIT Jam will have two papers. Paper 1 consists of Chemistry, Geology, and Mathematics. Paper 2 covers economics, Biotechnology, Physics, and Mathematics Statitics. The duration of the IIT Jam exam is three hours. The questions paper has Multiple Choice (MCQ) and Integer Value (Numerical Value Answer) type questions. IIT Jam exam papers will be for 100 marks.

MSc admission at NIT Meghalaya begins with the registration of IIT Jam, which was available until October for the next academic year. MSc at NIT Meghalya is a two year duration programme. The PG level course is offered across three specialisations which include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. MSc is a regular programme for graduate, passed-out students.
