Supported by the Shraman Foundation, Equal Opportunity Scholarship offers a very good option to underprivileged students pursuing technical degrees. If you are eligible, you can receive up to INR 35,000 per semester, which adds up to a massive INR 2.8 Lakhs over your entire four-year BTech journey. The best part is that once you are selected, you don't have to reapply every year, as long as you maintain good grades and show a continued financial need, you will receive the funding.

As of now, IIT Dharwad has not yet featured in major global lists like the QS World University Rankings or Times Higher Education (THE). Most global rankings require a minimum number of years in operation and a specific volume of research publications. However, as the permanent campus expands and research activities grow, it is expected to enter these international brackets in the coming years, following the path of senior IITs.
