IIT Goa has a licensed and experienced counsellor, who addresses students common problems, such as academic stress, anxiety, personal relationships, etc. The counsellor conduct individual counselling sessions, workshops, and group therapy as well. As per the IIT Goa official website, the counsellor is available at the campus on every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, between 3:30 pm to 7 pm. Thus, the BTech students get health/counselling services at IIT Goa.

Additionally, IIT Goa offers a two-year M.Tech programme in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, with a total of 36 seats across these specializations.
