Yes, candidates seeking admission to a M.Tech course of IIT Goa must eligibility and selection requirements. The institute offer admission based on performance in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). There is no other provision for selection. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores have to further take part in the round of counselling.

IIT Goa offers a total of four BTech programmes as per the JoSAA website. The duration of these course is four year and the mode of study is full-time. Selection is done as per the JEE Main + JEE Advanced scores followed by JoSAA counselling. The available BTech specialisations at IIT Goa are:

No, IIT Goa does not offer direct admission to its BTech programmes. Candidates seeking admission to the UG course have to appear for the JEE Main + JEE Advanced exams and secure a valid score. The shortlisted students have to further participate in JoSAA counselling. After seat allotment and verification, the admission fees can be paid for seat confirmation.

IIT Goa cutoff 2025 has been released for the third round, based on JEE Advanced scores. The cutoff was released category-wise for All India quota candidates. The range of cutoff was 5628 and 11533, among the General AI category candidates.
For the OBC AI category candidates, the range of cutoff was between 2176 and 4627. Candidates can further check the category-wise, round-wise and year-wise cutoff for IIT Goa on this page.

Yes, it is possible to get admission to IIT Goa with a rank of 5000 in JEE Advanced. The cutoff was released for candidates seeking admission to the BTech specialisations. The round 3 cutoff for General AI category candidates was closed between the range of 5628 and 11533. Therefore, as per the cutoff range, it is possible to get admission to the college with a rank of 5000 in JEE Advanced. IIT Goa cutoff for 2025 has been released for the first round, on the basis of JEE Advanced scores. The cutoff was released for different categories under the All India quota. IIT Goa JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for BTech and Integrated BTech courses. Considering the first round cutoff, the cutoff ranks were between 2101 and 4230. CSE remains the most competitive branch, with a closing rank of 5626. B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing Engineering also stands out as the most sought-after specialisation, with a lenient closing rank of 6398 among the general AI category students.

IIT Goa has offered BTech courses through JEE Advanced exam scores. It has released the cutoffs for various All India quotas including General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD, and EWS categories. Among all the programs offered, the top three programs were BTech in CSE, B.Tech. in Mathematics and Computing Engineering, and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering. According to IIT Goa JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, the cutoff for the aforementioned courses were 5371, 6685, and 9603 for the General AI category candidates. Candidates seeking admission to IIT Goa through OBC AI quota must have a valid JEE Advanced score. IIT Goa has released the cutoffs for separate All India category candidates. Considering the IIT Goa JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, the last-round closing rank for CSE and Mathematical and Computer Engineering stood at 5371 and 6685, respectively, for the General AI category candidates. However, for OBC quota, the needed rank as per the IIT Goa cutoff 2024, stood at 2002 and 2593, respectivley, for the aforementioned programs.
