Yes, 30 could be considered a good enough rank for admission to the BDes course at IIT Hyderabad.

For the General AI category, the highest rank acceptable was 42. So, the attained rank of 30 might get you admitted at IIT Hyderabad.

It also worth knowing if you belong to any reservered category, its not complusory that the admitted ranks would be higher, for eg., for SC AI, the highest acceptable rank was 18.

This is one of the most debated questions among engineering aspirants. IIIT Hyderabad is globally known for its research output and CSE programme specifically, and many consider it the best CS college in India after IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi. IIT Hyderabad, on the other hand, offers a broader engineering environment with strong research facilities across departments. For pure CSE and coding, IIIT Hyderabad has a slight edge. But if you want a well-rounded IIT tag with diverse opportunities, IIT Hyderabad is the better pick.

According to a student's review on Shiksha, IIT Hyderabad is a good college.

Some companies that visit the college are Samsung Research, Adobe Research, and Intel. Wipro and Suzuki provide many internship opportunities. Many consulting companies also come to the college.

The library is very good and very accessible. All classrooms are well-equipped with projectors and screens for easy and good learning.

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:14. The faculty and student relationship is so good. All faculty members encourage students to interact with them in class hours and also provide facilities to meet them in the office.
