Yes ! For giving IIT JAM exam you are eligible. You may seek admission through PWD ( person with disability) Quota. See the eligibility criteria of paper you want to give. However, in Geophysics, it won't be possible for you to take admission in any IIT. Take their physical examination test before taking candidates into their institute.

For giving IIT JAM exam and to seek admission into M.Sc. Or M.Sc-PhD or M.Sc-M.Tech courses, one must be in final semester of Bachelor's degree programme or have completed their Bachelor's degree. In 4th semester according to guidelines you are not eligible to give IIT JAM exam. Even though you give the exam and crack it then also it won't be useful because you cannot take admission.

According to eligibility released by IIT JAM in year 2022, all that you need is to have passed the Bachelor's degree programme. Two years gap won't effect. In fact, there are many students who takes more than two years break for IIT JAM preparation. So, yes, you can apply for IIT JAM examination, just prepare well.

There is no link between both, JAM is for Masters, and NIOS is a board for class 10th and class 12th. There is no link between them. JAM board is more concerned with your eligibility test and your qualified degree.
