IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology Cut-off

The cutoff trend for BTech in Manufacturing Science and Engineering at IIT Kharagpur has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 5858. In 2023, it increased to 6317. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 3022 to 3195 for OBC, 1802 to 1894 for SC, 870 to 1052 for ST, 1249 to 1328 for EWS. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 5395 and closing rank was 5847. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2284 and 12359. Admission to BSc in Economics in IIT Kharagpur is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, cut off was 303 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech (Hons) in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Kharagpur. For female candidates in General category under All India quota, 905 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.
