The IIT Kharagpur MSc cutoff 2026 ranged from 337 to 2485 in the first round. The IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for several AI quota categories for admission to the MSc courses. 

As per the first round, MSc + PhD in Geology and MSc + PhD in Nuclear Medicine were the most and least competitive courses for admission. Students can see the table below to know the IIT Kharagpur branch-wise cutoff 2026 for the SC AI category.

The IIT Kharagpur CSE cutoff 2026 was 509 for the General AI category in the first round. The IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 was announced for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations for the first round.

The IIT Kharagpur MSc cutoff 2025 via IIT JAM has been released for different categories of students within the AI quota. The cutoffs were published as opening and closing ranks for various MSc specialisations. For OBC category students, the first-round cutoff ranks ranged from 133 to 874. IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on factors such as Category, Performance, Seats Available and Competition. 

Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced cutoff 2025 has been released for round 3. The cutoff was released category-wise for students seeking admission to the BTech/Integrated BTech/BSc specialisations at the college. For candidates belonging to the General AI category, the cutoff ranks varied between 450 and 18182. As per the cutoff range, it is possible to get admission to the college at 10,000 rank in JEE Advanced. IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2026 is out for admission for round 1 for admission to the BTech, BArch, BS and BSc courses. The round 1 cutoff ranged from 509 to 13366, wherein BTech CSE and B.Sc. in Applied Geology were the most and least competitve UG courses for admission.

Yes, there has been a fall in the JEE Advanced cutoff rank for CSE at IIT Kharagpur over the past three years. As per the IIT Kharagpur CSE cutoff 2026 for the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff was 509. In 2025 and 2024, the cutoffs for the same round were 450 and 414, respectively. The higher the rank, the lower the competition. For other categories, the scenario might be different.

The latest cutoff regarding M.Tech in Infrastructure Design and Management offered by IIT Kharagpur for 2024 has yet to come out. Based on previous year's cutoffs, for the general category, in 2023, they were around 611; for the OBC candidates, 371. Other requirements also include a valid GATE score and that they are eligible based on all required criteria, of which, one is at least 60% marks in their qualifying degree. For the most precise and latest cut-off information, a person must constantly check the original website of IIT Kharagpur.

To get admission into IIT Kharagpur, the JEE Advanced closing Cutoff rank for the female candidate (General Category) ranged between 1661 and 24653 for different BTech courses. Since BTech (Hons) in CSE was the toughest course to get into, therefore the Cutoff for the same was the lowest cutoff rank i.e. 1661. For the Female Candidates (OBC category), the JEE Advanced Cutoff ranged between 601 and 9222, with the cutoff for BTech (Hons) in CSE being 601. For the SC Female category and the ST Female category, the Cutoff ranks to secure a seat in CSE were 414 and 206, respectively.
