No, students do not need to apply separately at IIT Ropar site after JoSAA counselling. This is because the institute follows a common admission process for its BTech course just like the other IITs. Shortlisted students who get a seat through the JoSAA counselling, simply need to report for document verification and pay the acceptance fees. All the details of the students will be forwarded to IIT Ropar by JoSAA directly. Information about the orientation, fee payment, and hostel allocation will be mailed online. Students must check the registered mail frequently.
