JAM Score is used for admission to various postgraduate programmes such as (i) MSc,   (ii) MSc (Tech), (iii) MS (Research), (iv) MSc - M.Tech Dual Degree, (v) Joint MSc - PhD. and (vi) MSc - PhD Dual Degree, across multiple disciplines by premier institutes across the country.
Admissions to various programmes using JAM 2026 Score can be divided into two categories:

Indian Institute of Technology Goa has a central library with databases, e-books, e-journals, and others. The college has a collection of reference books, textbooks on varied subjects like Electrical Engineering, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Materials Science, Economics, Computer Science, Linguistics, and others. You have no possibility of obtaining a seat in Computer Science at an IIT with a preparatory rank when the preceding year's cutoff is taken into account. Based on your preparation rank, you do, however, have a possibility to enrol in one of the IITs listed below for a variety of courses.

According to the latest trends, the cutoff for Computer Science Engineering in IITs and NITs has been around 7000-8000 in the past few years. However, it is important to note that the cutoff marks can vary from year to year. So, it is best to check the cutoff marks for previous years to get an idea of your chances.

There will be seats reserved for preferential allotment at all the IITs for candidates belonging to Defence Service. To get the seat in this quota the candidate needs to be listed in the Common Merit List released after the announcement of JEE Advanced Result. Then there will be JoSAA counselling (joint seat allocation authority) according to the ranks the seats will be alloted.
